Provider evaluation, architecture, WorkOS linking, UI, security, tests, review materials, deployment, and monitoring.
This plan is for one centrally operated LiveCEO Apple Messages for Business channel. It is a conversational interface to the existing company brain. It is not message-history ingestion, and it does not require a customer-owned Mac.
Go, with one approval condition. The product is technically feasible and can be zero-install for employees. Apple requires an approved Messaging Service Provider (MSP) and a real human escalation path. We must validate that a customer-designated workspace admin satisfies that requirement before committing to the commercial launch.
The finished customer experience is deliberately small:
There is no bot installation. There is no BlueBubbles screen, public Mac proxy, server password, webhook field, Firebase project, or access to unrelated Messages conversations.
The public button should be called Ask LiveCEO in Apple Messages or use Apple's approved Ask a Question artwork. Apple's naming rules say not to call the business channel “iMessage.”
| Constraint | Product consequence |
|---|---|
| An Apple-approved MSP is mandatory | LiveCEO integrates with the MSP's webhook and send API; it cannot connect directly to Apple. |
| Bot-only deployments are not approved | agent, support, and help must offer a human during published business hours. |
| One commercial account per business | The first release is one LiveCEO-branded channel serving every workspace, not a different Apple brand for every customer. |
| The customer starts the conversation | Share links, website buttons, email links, and QR codes are the acquisition surface. No unsolicited company-brain answers. |
| First automation response should arrive within five seconds | Send an immediate acknowledgement, then deliver the full company-brain answer when it completes. |
| Apple exposes an Opaque ID, not the user's phone or email | WorkOS authentication is required before any company knowledge is returned. |
| The user controls deletion and opt-out | Handle conversation deletion and stop / unsubscribe as hard revocation events. |
| Area | You — owner | Me — product and engineering |
|---|---|---|
| Product decision | Confirm LiveCEO branding, human escalation owner, and support hours | Turn the decision into final flows and acceptance criteria |
| Apple identity | Create/control the corporate Apple Account and complete MFA | Prepare exact field values and validate the configuration |
| Legal and spend | Accept Apple/MSP terms, sign the MSP agreement, approve charges | Compare MSP APIs, pricing, availability, security, and lock-in |
| Brand assets | Approve legal name, public brand name, privacy terms, support hours, and final logos | Prepare/validate asset dimensions, copy, URLs, and technical contacts |
| Test access | Provide Apple Accounts for testers and add them in Apple Business Register | Run the end-to-end test matrix and produce the review evidence |
| Human coverage | Name the people who will answer escalations | Build routing, queue, notifications, audit trail, and response tooling |
| Software | No technical setup | Build, test, migrate, deploy, monitor, and document the entire channel |
| Go-live | Approve the final customer experience and Apple submission | Prepare the recording, evidence pack, rollout, and production verification |
Send these three decisions in writing:
I will convert those decisions into the final conversation diagram, escalation SLA, privacy boundary, and provider requirements.
Twilio is worth evaluating because its programmable model fits LiveCEO, but its Apple Messages for Business product was still private beta in 2026. Access must be confirmed rather than assumed.
These actions require your corporate identity, MFA, legal acceptance, or an owner-only click:
/api/webhooks/apple-messages receiver for the chosen MSP.imessage transport to an apple_messages transport. Reuse the existing company brain, analytical datasets, citations, access controls, capacity admission, plans, managed actions, tasks, alerts, and persistent chats.(Apple Opaque ID, workspace ID) to the authenticated org_people record. Never authorize from the pre-filled message alone.Replace the current Mac URL/password form in Settings with:
The existing BlueBubbles route remains hidden as an operator-only fallback until the official channel completes its pilot. It is not shown to customers as the normal connection path.
agent, support, and help as Apple requires.agent, support, and help reach a real person in the test account.Do not buy a Mac or configure BlueBubbles. Reply with only these four items:
Brand: LiveCEO — confirm or replace.Human escalation: workspace admin or LiveCEO support.Support hours: <hours + timezone>.Corporate Apple Account: ready or needs creation — do not send a password.Once those are decided, I can own the technical work and hand you only the Apple/MSP actions that legally or operationally require you.
agent, support, and help reach the designated human path. You own five things: Apple identity, legal and spend, brand approval, tester access, and real human coverage. I own the provider research, form preparation, assets, software, security, testing, submission evidence, deployment, and monitoring. Never send me an Apple password, MFA code, or provider secret.
Your goal: have one company-controlled Apple Account that can legally act for LiveCEO.
Done when: the authorized owner can open Apple Business Register and the account has MFA. Tell me only Corporate Apple Account: ready and the account email—never the password or MFA code.
Your goal: make the decisions that require a legal representative or budget owner.
Done when: Apple terms are accepted by the authorized signer and the chosen Apple-approved MSP is commercially approved. I will bring you the price and tradeoffs before anything is purchased.
Your goal: approve what customers see and the public company details behind it.
LiveCEO is recommended. Tell me if this must instead be white-labelled per customer; that changes the account model.Done when: the registration copy and final logo pack are owner-approved. I will size, validate, and upload the assets; you only approve them.
Your goal: let named people test the private Apple account before commercial approval.
agent handoff experience.Done when: a named tester can start a private Apple Messages conversation and the message reaches LiveCEO's test webhook. I run and record the full test matrix.
Your goal: name real people who will receive agent, support, and help during published hours. Apple does not approve a bot-only experience; see the official FAQ and channel policies.
Done when: there is a named primary, backup, schedule, and tested escalation path. I build the inbox, routing, alerts, tenant controls, audit trail, and out-of-hours behavior.
